wrong tiger is the bigest of the big cats (but that depends on wich tiger breed, the sibirian tiger is the biggest of all big cats, maybe with exception from "liger")

Male Lions can scare the hell out of a whole gang of hyenas, yet female lions often get bullied by them. Male lions are immensely powerful.

Your right it would be a toss up. But if i had to guess and they were the same age and size and 1 on 1 i would usually pick the tiger. male lions generally dont hunt they usually just defend their pride and let the females do the hunting. where tigers are more solitary and hunt alone. that and its been found that tigers have more stamina and speed than originaly thought when taping one chasing down and ostrich for several minutes.

It just depends with every fight. How old is the tiger / lion and how big?Lion and tiger are so close to each other that every fight is one which you can't predict.
