Well I respect what you have to say, but I was just basing it off of the age, which I usually don't do, so I apologize. theyve never experienced anything like that where they would need such courage and strength, so when it finally happens it kind've hits them with surprise, and they hardly know how to handle it. Do you understand what I am saying? And plus the way she was talking it sounded as if she was one of those people, and that's why i even brought it up.

I respect your opinion completely. On the other hand, it hurts to hear that. I'm 17 years old, my boyfriend of almost 2 years is a Marine. While I'll admit, at times, it's difficult being with someone in the military, I have to disagree with you about young people not being strong enough to have a military relationship. Most people can't handle them, you have to be a very strong person in general. If you love someone enough, you'll find the courage. I hope this sways your opinion a little. :)

1984sweetheart I can relate.But how old are you? I know your username has 1984 in it, but with all due respect if that is the year you were born you portray somebody half the age you are now. To be with someone in the marines, army, navy, coastguard, or anything of the sort you need to have alot of courage. And people at a young age do not have that and if they obtain it too early they don't know how to keep it once they get it. You need to be very strong for the both of you. Good luck.
