Amy Winehouse is an overrated crackwhore. She can't eeven sing. It's an insult to Duffy to even compare the two. Duffy can SING. She can also sing live. She's not another no talent that needs technology to make her sound halfway decent.

poohpooh - don't even talk about adele, she's 20, when Duffy started work on Rockferry Adele was still in Brit school. Wino? Duffy's blues voice was getting written up in the British press in 2003 before Wino got her first mention. Original??? Who is original, everyone is influenced by who came before, no-one is original, including Dusty Springfield - who I first heard when she was still a Peter, Paul and Mary style folk-singer.

Duffy seems great on the surface, but then if you look closely and think about it - she's not so. There isn't one thing about her that's original. She already sounds like someone else [Amy Winehouse and Adele] so her sound isn't new - And her looks aren't. So many other people have chanelled the 60's thing [like the original - dusty springfield!!] and also she doesn't pronounce her 'n's' properly!!! Drives me mad. So, as good as she is - she's not original enough for me. Sorry!
