David Lynch's ad made no fucking sense whatsoever...It was perfect.

You've kinda got it pegged. I didn't like the Kevin Smith parody because it was such a straight lift from Clerks. All of the attack ads are pretty generalized, but I like the Wes Anderson and David Lynch ones because they combine elements from several of their films. The David Lynch one also references Twin Peaks and Lost Highway, for the record.

My favorite part is the very end, with the guy playing Shyamalan just staring.

I give you that... You're right, the awkward pattern of dialogue and the added audio special effects, not to mention the seriousness of the mood over a simple conversation. I just think it's a bit too easy. It's still a bit too generalized for me. David Lynch's works are parodies themselves, so this would be a parody of a parody. Maybe that's why I have a difficult time accepting it(?)

I dunno... the main guy's deliveries? The noises he added in the background and the way the guy screams at the end. It's hilarious and so damn accurate.

It's just a bad potpourri mix of Mulholland Drive. I don't know how you find that funny. Maybe it's just me.

The David Lynch one is one of the funniest things I've seen in a while.

Dude--was the McMidget's dancing jazz one of the alternate takes from Miles' 'Elevator to the Gallows' score? |
