Really why do people have to make bad comments from Twister? It's kind of annoying sometimes. RBChamp is right. There is a possibility that there was a stronger tornado. The Tri-State tornado would be my guess. Although it's hard to tell if it was one tornado or a family of tornadoes.

I remember living through that time. I live in north Texas and I was in the 2nd grade and we were all ordered to duck and cover for like 4 hours. Man it was intense.
