Love the song! My dad used to sing this (he also had a Guild acoustic just like Paul's). This song is a good picture of how hard it is to be a singer or bandmember.

i was 14 when i first heard this in a car a few days before christmas being shipped from remand home to classifying centre if ever there was a wrong or right time for this record was then still listen with mixed feelings 40 years later i suppose every one gets different things from this song but there was never meant to be joy was there/
