Hey Grak70,I got the information you said to google (just wanted to let you know) about the "Being Green" episode and I read it. Well, it is a recantation in a way, definitely a backing away from the impression he left with the show. I'm glad to hear what he had to say.He writes, "Being honest about not knowing enough of the science to make a judgment isn't the same as an outright denial." Hm....Appreciate you taking the time to point me to the article ;).

Yes, please add footnotes and a bibliography to your 500-character maximum YouTube comment. Cite legitimate sources just as Penn Jillette's telepromptered script does. Pretend it's 1953 and Google doesn't exist just as Penn Jillette and his YouTube shills do. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

information sources or GTFO.So what makes you so sure that bottled water isn't just as contaminated by the evil corporations who are given license to dump in the public supply by the evil government? Seriously, you people are insane.

Time and again Penn & Teller have shilled for Cato Institute corporate funders. So I assume now that this episode about drinking water, with its glaring omission of water fluoridation, is on behalf of the fertilizer or aluminum industries, who realize millions annually by selling their toxic waste as "fluoride." Penn in his "Penn Says" videos comes off as a nice guy, so I assume in "Bullshit" episodes about politics or corporate regulation he's just reading propaganda off the teleprompter.

Liars.>>> "Atheist says he doesn't believe in God but believes in Warren Commission & 911 Commission fairytales; tells his audience of sheep that if they meet any who disagree to "push them down a flight of stairs." ExxonMobil, Monsanto, Philip Morris, Walmart fund his beloved Cato Institute, "Penn & Teller: Bullshit" runs episodes smearing environmentalists, genetically modified food critics, 2nd-hand smoke hazard proof & Walmart critics. Bush hires Cato wonks, P&T bash 911 truth movement."

LMAO>>> "Like fat neo-con shill Rush Limbaugh before him, Penn Jillette fobs off his ultra right-wing propaganda as infotainment. Translation? No logic or accountablility apply. - Hey, were not reporters, were clowns who entertain drunks in Vegas! Penns membership in the pro-Bush regime, pro-corporate, anti-worker, anti-environmentalist Cato Institute? Television show in lockstep with Cato Inst. dogma? - Hey, what are you, a communist? How the crypto-Nazi propaganda machine works"

Most water in the US is "fluoridated," ie, laced with toxic chemical waste the goverment claims is beneficial mass medication. Penn & Teller claim to be "libertarian," supposedly -- fundamentally -- against such "nanny state" policies. Why then given a half hour mass media opportunity to discuss drinking water do they not only omit mention of fluoridation, but encourage people to believe fluoridated tap water is better to drink than nonfluoridated bottled spring water?Propaganda clowns!

google for: "Penn Jillette on skepticism". An article he wrote for the LA times July 3, 2008 about this TAM Q/A session. While it's not an outright recantation (in fact I might be getting this confused with his 2nd-hand smoke episode which he DID recant) at least he had the decency to admit his lack of qualification for coming down as hard as he did in the show. It takes a bigger man than most of us (and usually bigger than Penn!) to admit "I don't know."
