They had an album it was half Otis half Jimi back then. At monterey they didn't know what to think of Otis until he performed this tune cause they were drugged out hippies wanting acid rock. But he was big after this. Then he was dead a year or so later.

wow! otis defined my teenagehood and set my soul on fire for the rest of my life. I went up and down the eastern seaboard to see otis every chance i got and it changed my life. i got front row seat on breaking the race barrier and to this day it is a guiding light for my life.
