my favorite thing about hawaiian culture is that you dont have to be hawaiian, or samoan, or any other type of polynesian to truly appreciate it. it doesnt matter what ethnicity you are, you can still share in the aloha spirit and have island pride, all that is required is a love and respect for the traditions, especially such heartbreakingly beautiful music as this. mahalo to keali'i for his moving music!

This song touches very close to my heart...it was a song that they played at my dads funeral in Hawaii and it was dear to me that I played it walking down the aisle on my Wedding Day in Memory of him!!~~
