The Cure's best all-round album. Although both Faith and Pornography can't be touched for their single-minded, uncompromising, relentless emotional greatness. Disintegration is more varied, so probably has wider appeal, yet is a masterpiece. Same Deep Water As You is a masterpiece in itself. The pain, the despair, the longing, the loss. A melancholy epic. Brooding, emotional, bitter/sweet. Ever felt out of your depth in life? This song will make sense if you have. Beautiful!!

This whole cd rules though this one and Prayers for Rain are my favorites. Such awesome lyrics. Robert rules but his one flaw is firing O'Donnell. With no keyboard player songs like this will either not sound the same or not even be played. Like on the Festival 2005 dvd. Plainsong sounds terrible. Anyone agree?
