Regardless, Obama wasn't his "pal" Obama worked with him on a commitie decades after the bombings. They were not palling around as Palin would have you believe.

Guilty is guilty. Ayers is a criminal, plain and simple, even if he (ab)used the Constitution to get him off the hook.

Education: The reason public education is so successful in "brainwashing" children is because it was designed for this purpose. During the progressive era, Progressives saw the belief of the entire society as an organic whole and left no room for dissent. Ill sum up this idea with a quote from President Wilson while he was president of Princeton:"Our problem is not to help the students to adjust themselves to world life...[but] to make them as unlike their fathers as we can."

Privacy: Then you would agree with my comment that a progressive income tax violates such a right and is thusly hypocritical, no? Besides this, the laws passed under the Patriot Act were actually an extension of laws that already existed to combat drug dealers, gangs and mobs. If you find that using these same laws for a different purpose to be unconstitutional, you must find their use in all circumstances as such.

abortion:If you define child as "a young member of the species homo sapien" then you are wrong I'm afraid. The "procedure" known as intact dilation and extraction does exactly what I have described: "breech extraction of the body exception the head; and partial evacuation of the itracranial contents of the fetus".Partially delivering a child and sucking its brains out is the same as sucking a child's brains out, unless you are trying to say that he/she isn't human, but then you would be wrong.

Healthcare isn't a right, agreed."Such as the right to not have your brain sucked out as a child." That hasn't happened. Ever. No child has ever had their brain sucked out. As far as Liberals being closer-the ability to invade your privacy is much more akin to totalitarian governments. Privacy rights derive from the 4th Amendment, which prohibits unreasonable search+seizure. Prohibiting the government from searching your house w/o a warrant, tapping your calls, or keeping you under surveillance.

1) my apologies, I apparently answered on my friends account

Well I couldn't go to any college to demonstrate the faults of public education, since some institutions are private. That aside, I am referring to K-12. And if education systems are really so capable of brainwashing, then I think we need to question parents' ability to raise a child and how easily a human being becomes complacent in such (remotely, at least) comfy situations.
