That is very true. As a big fan of the show, I lament for formulaic it has become. I think it has to do with the emphasis in editing shifting from focusing on the castaways to focusing on the "game" as well as boring challenges. However, Survivor has never truly been about survival in the "wild", it is a reflection of human nature. Which has also been dumbed down lately.

So please, let's just call this Survivor Hollywood, as it has nothing to do with Gabonese culture or the environment. Franchement, it's as if I had never lived in Gabon, after having watched this...

hmm... as much as Fang sucks, it's only been 2 tribals and Fang is not the worst tribe in survivor's history. Michelle is not top athelete and the votes for her and Gillian are equally "united". While I'm no fan of Fang but Probst is too biased as a host and narrator now.

Fang chose GC because he wouldn't shut up at about it. As soon as he failed he decided they didn't need a leader. GC doesn't want to lead but he doesn't want to be led. It's a no win situation. And seriously, 'retarded'? Is this Junior High School?
