Being hardcore is cool? No, being hardcore is being hardcore. No self-respecting truly hardcore person would ever say being hardcore is cool. And how is saying fuck you randomly brutal? Nu-metal used to be called "aggro rock". I couldn't tell you why the name was changed, but I what I CAN tell you, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that nu-metal is not metal. Metal is not the dominant genre in the music. That's why I say it's a very misleading genre name.
