Albert King is one of the mavericks of electric blues (and guitar in general) alongside the likes of Freddie King, Buddy Guy,BB King, Albert Collins, Lonnie Mack and many others I've left off. We can thank all of these great bluesmen for the likes of Jimi Hendrix, SRV, Clapton, Jimmy Page, Billy Gibbons who are innovators in their own right as well as "improvers" of what was already done.You can't mess with the Nightcrawler, his tone just is too much for anyone to handle.
