I just cant understand why this lovely movie didnt do well at the B.O . some stupid movies were declared hits in 1991 yet Lekin remains a classic from 1991. 1991 had two great classic movies Lekin and Lamhe

Yeaaa. I cant agree more Jaani. I love all the songs of this movie. Lata Mangeshkar insisted on Hema to be a part of her movie bec hema is among her favorite actresses. Even though Dimple has more songs. but this is the dancing song. Nice song and Hema adds the beauty to it making it a double entertainment. I love all the scores of this movie. The best ever done by Haridanth Mangeshakr.

Yes Halimali, she is indeed an amazing dancer. So full of soul and divinity:) I looooooooooove this song, it's too hauntingly beautiful and her dance is just perfect for it. She becomes "one" with the music:) She had a guest appearance in this film but still was MAGIC:)

ufff jaani, I really love this song and this dance. I have the DVD. Really hope some other company releases a better version of this great movie. This dance is one of Hema Malini's landmarks. When It comes to classical dance NOBODY beats Hema. I can confidently say she is the greatest Classical dancer among the heroines in the history of Bw.Not only moves but angelic face suiting such dances. I dont know but whenever I see her its like having full oxygen goingt through all my veins.Love u Forver

I think it's very cute to note that both Hema Malini and Zeenat Aman happen to be very close friends with Dimple Kapadia:) What a cute coincidence, I guess great minds think alike:) hehehehehe!

Hema enjoyed working in "Lekin" with her very good friend Dimple Kapadia for whom Hema has always had a special place in her heart, and whom she befriended upon the very first time of meeting her. She looks at Dimple as her little sister Hema says. Although she always says that she doesn't have very many super "close" friends, since she's such a private person, she says she has a very special bond with Dimple because she connects with her, even though they are very different from one another.
