This was released at around the same time as the first Star Wars movie (episode IV). In fact, it's one of the main reasons this movie didn't get the hype it probably deserved for its time.Don't expect the plastic-y CG of today. It isn't really about effects as such anyway. It's more one of those 'wonderment' flicks - you have to let yourself go to appreciate it. It's also quite funny in parts!
