2GB is for max settings only, which the PS3 doesn't run. The "Official" min requirement is 1G of system RAM and 256MB of video ram, which is the same as Crysis. That includes Windows overhead, but I think it's just a general "Have this first" for PC users looking to run Cry2 games. That, or the PS3 version streams required textures at you, and the PC preloads the island.I'm not sure of the inner workings of it all, but I do know that most people I know say Crysis looks better.

lol no way dude look at my vids..yes they r HUGE but if u no how to use Windows Movie Maker u can easly turn a 1Gig vid into like barely 50megs

yeah iknow, but ps3 can make it in some way!i mean come one far cry 2 take like 2 gigs of ram! and the ps3 can handle it with no lag no heating and have the same graphics of pc! or the pc have a lil bet better graphics

I wish PS3 more than 512MB ram, cuz this takes a gig at lowest settings.
